Grounds of Bali
Six-Day Insight Meditation and Yoga Retreat
Friday Sept 15th to Thursday Sept 21st 2023 - Uluwatu, Bali, Indonesia
with Renata Malinauskas and Stefani Ribeiro
This retreat is a unique opportunity for you to fully immerse yourself in the retreat experience, including an emphasis on insight meditation and Dharma inquiry, Yoga philosophy and practices as well as the richness of an authentic, in-depth cultural experience.
Insight (Vipassana) in the Buddhist tradition is about seeing clearly into existence through ethics, mindfulness, heart-opening meditations, and wisdom teachings. This profound practice delves into life's complexities, embracing challenges and moments of joy. By exploring our relationship with daily experiences, pleasant or unpleasant, we discover liberating power through understanding and embodied awareness.
Unlike typical Bali retreats, we offer a more meaningful experience, embracing the simplicity and beauty of a resilient culture and stunning landscapes on this sacred island.
Our daily meditation, inquiry, and yoga practices are complemented by local activities like mountain trekking, sunsets, temple visits, and spas. Collaborating with local Elders and teachers, we delve into the island's magic, wisdom, and medicine.
Our accommodations are carefully selected to provide character and authenticity. We stay in family homestays that honor the land's lore, supporting local communities as they support us on our journey.
Prepare to nourish your mind and body as you embrace the serenity and insights gained through meditation, the beauty of the Balinese culture, and transformative embodiment practices.
